History

The KGB (Komitet Gosudarstvennoy Bezopasnosti) was the primary security agency of the Soviet Union. It was established in 1954 and abolished at its fall in December 1991. It was said that it was the world's most effective information-gathering organization. It was responsible for creating various projects including Department X and the Red Room.
